THE BIGGEST ROOM IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD
In my little journey in life, I found out, recently, the world biggest room in a very large house I didn’t know existed before, of which I have decided to tell you about.
You see, “Overrated successes are like ashes in the tripod of your achievements, which stand as obstacles to tomorrow’s progress”. Read that again.
Many opine that it is only honourable when you’re above your equals, but it is as well honourable when you’re better than who you used to be yesterday!
You are not in competition with anyone in life; and as a matter of fact, the one you should be competing with is yourself.
You have heard of this statement, “the more the better”, it is not just a cliché but a factor in self-improvement.
I have seen a lot of nonchalance and lack of enthusiasm among many people in improving themselves. Such should stop, especially in this season as this, when time is in abundance.
When some folks are advised to constrain themselves and commit to self-development, they complain of total lack of time or inadequate time. Now, check it critically, was it a problem of time and availability or a problem of indiscipline?
The biggest and largest room in the universe is the room for improvement. And it is big enough to accommodate everybody on earth.
Since the lockdown started, what has been added to you? You see, things have changed and either you like it or not, things will not be the same way you left them before the lockdown saga. An improved version of your present self is needed to fit into the scene of tomorrow.
Do not focus your energies on what’s not profitable or ungodly to while away time, focus your time and energies on what brings you closer to the tomorrow’s version of yourself you have always dreamt of. You’re loved!
