SOLITUDE OR ISOLATION BY CLEMENT AANUOLUWAPO

One of the dangerous devices of the devil to disconnect you from your spiritual families, those you can latch on their spiritual capacities to assist you through to meet up spiritually, before finally destroying you is isolation. He gives you a reason to be displeased and fight with them.

Call the devil a liar, you are right; call him a fool, you are wrong, but we are not ignorant of his devices and strategies.

The wolf has no audacity over you in the fold. The devil, in his craftiness strategically, in ways seemingly sinless and harmless, separates a sheep from the fold, and tracks him down dead, by his wolf.

That is why the enemy fights fellowship in relationship, the devil comes in to sow a discord to break communication.

The parable of the lost sheep/coin was not written for fun, neither was it for sinners, it was a sheep, recognized in the fold, under same shepherd with others, but was lost because it could not find its path with others. What went wrong? Where did it miss it?


Togetherness strengthens our solidarity for corporate defense. Soldiers of the kingdom, under no circumstance should another soldier be neither talked wounded, nor shot dead by our own bullets of backbiting.

Let the detached and isolated sheep be sought after, isolation is detrimental to their health. Let the feeble hands be strengthened, and the feeble knees confirmed.

The very act of solitude was used by the Lord Jesus for spiritual refreshing and rejuvenation, to be alone with the Father. Its place cannot be overlooked, but as great as it is, needed for a retreat; keep an eye on it to watch over lest other elements in spiritual arrogance and pride creep in unawares, and you slide into isolation, and a cutting off.

Forsake not the assembling of other believers as the manner/custom of some is. You cannot stop the cold at night, but there is a provision of heat for the cold when we lie together. Shalom!
