GOD; AN OBSESSION AND A PRIORITY BY CLEMENT AANUOLUWAPO

Priority to God, as we have been religiously trained sounds strange. But we must, in theses days, submit totally, both to the person and the principles of God, the excellency of the patterns and modus operandi of the Kingdom of God.

Who can compare to Him? Who can take His place? Is God your treasure, is He your priority? Many a times we sing these songs of love, intimacy and total surrender, but I imagine angels watching some of us and saying we are lying.

Instead of saying I lay down my everything; why not truthfully say I lay down these aspects, apart from these?

How many of us sing the song… all to Jesus I surrender, and we get emotional about the chorus; I surrender ‘ALL’, when in the real sense, in your heart; you are singing I surrender ‘SOME’

Beyond heart desires and the confession of the lips in “expression externa”, we must seek to forsake all and follow on in unapologetic obsession and to know the Lord with reckless abandonment.

The Lord has no interest in the blood of bulls of rams and goats; no delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, save one= the living sacrifices of our bodies!

We must get serious with God if we must see him visibly and touch him tangibly. Only the obedient lovers would be able to touch the heart of the Father! He must become your obsession now and forever.

The so much anticipated year is here, prophesies are not as important as the fulfillment of the prophesies that will play out by virtue of intimacy and partnership with the Spirit of God; as we come into the spontaneous move and current speakings of God. Shalom!
