I bumped on a video online sometimes ago, where a disgusting hip hop sound was played to the dance session of an open air crusade of a denomination. What’s the noise making all about? What insolence!
It is even not uncommon to see denominational video clips of prayers used to jest and constitute political demeanour.
Holy vessels of consecration and communion are not meant to be cups of wines in parties and convocations.
King Belshazzar of Babylon, would never repeat such barbaric act if history were to replay itself, in lifting up himself against the Lord of Heaven, drinking wine in consecrated vessels from the house of the Lord, praising all other gods.
I have seen guys talk down on prayer with unreserved apology. If praying will not get things done, is it playing that will bring everything under obedience? Physicality answers to Spirituality!!!
Please, as much as it is good to plan and strategize, do not use prayers as contrast to planning, to mean laziness and visionless mindedness.
We must be guided, and reasonable enough about things that are sacred and above. Foolish jesting about things that Christ Himself purchased with his blood!?
You see comedies about the salvation experience around, speaking in tongues as though those who engage in speaking in tongues are a generation of blabbers and psychotic neologists.
Holy Communion, casting out devils, angelic ministrations as comic stories for laughter and fun? How did we get here?
All of these light, anti-clockwise way of thinking and looseness must be checked if you do not want to be brought to book!
